が高速で回転すると、その外周に0.2〜0.5mm程度
の軸受隙間を保つて配置され、そのほゞ半分の高
さが浸つている振止軸受2に油6が衝突して多量
の油霧を発生する。その為にその軸受油槽3上部
に取付けられる油槽カバー4は、外周は確実に油
槽3に締付けられるが、内周は内輪4aを設けて
出来るだけ回転部との隙間を微小に保つて、この
油霧の洩出を防止しようとしている。この内輪4
aの上にはフエルト状の風止板5を取付け、更に
数10mm水柱の圧力空気を内輪4aのラビリンス部
に供給してエアーシールを施し、上記油霧の軸受
油槽3外への漏出を防止している。従来の油槽カ
バー4は以上のような構造であり、内輪4aの内
周と推力受金1との間の隙間は、軸受隙間+αが
要求される為、若干の隙間は避けられない。ま
