Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は電子式卓上計算機（以下、単に「電
卓」という）等に於ける集積回路素子（LSI）−
表示素子間の電気接続装置に関するものである。
従来、LSIのリード端子と液晶表示素子等の表
示素子の引き出し端子との間の電気的接続は、上
記LSIを取り付けるプリント配線基板上に形成さ
れたプリント配線、コネクタ等を介してなされて
おり、その構成が複雑なものとなつていた。
本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであ
り、表示素子に表示駆動信号を出力するLSIのリ
ード端子と、表示素子の引き出し端子との間の電
気的接続を非常に簡単な構成で達成させる電気接
続装置を得ることを目的としてなされたものであ
つて、キー入力装置を構成するフレキシブルなキ
ー配線基板と、表示素子と、上記キー入力装置よ
り入力されるキー入力信号に基づいて所定の処理
を実行し、所定の表示駆動信号を出力する内部回
路を構成する集積回路素子とを有する電卓等の電
子機器に於て、上記フレキシブルなキー配線基板
の端部に、上記集積回路素子のリード端子と上記
表示素子の引き出し端子との間の電気的接続を司
どる複数の配線部を設け、該複数の配線部が設け
られた上記端部を、上記複数の配線部が外側にく
るように、別途設けられる円柱形状等の弾性部材
に巻き付け、上記各配線部がそれぞれ所定のリー
ド端子及び引き出し端子に圧接されるように、上
記複数の配線部が設けられたフレキシブルなキー
配線基板の端部が巻き付けられた上記弾性部材を
上記集積回路素子のリード端子と上記表示素子の
引き出し端子との間に挾み込む構成とすることに
よつて、上記集積回路素子と表示素子との間の電
気接続を行うようにしたことを特徴とする電気接
続装置を提供するものである。
以下、実施例に基づいて本発明を詳細に説明す
る。
第１図は本発明を実施した電卓の内部構成を示
す断面図である。
図に於て、１は、キー入力装置２よりのキー入
力信号に基づいて所定の処理を実行し、所定の表
示駆動信号を出力するLSI、３はLSI１より出力
される表示駆動信号に基づいて所定の表示を行う
液晶表示素子である。
キー入力装置２は以下のように構成されてい
る。すなわち、図に於て、４は、キー入力用固定
接点及び該接点にLSI１より出力されるキースト
ローブ信号を供給するためのキー配線が、その上
面に形成されているシート状のフレキシブルなキ
ー配線基板、５は、上記固定接点に対向するキー
入力用可動接点及びキー押圧に基づく上記両接点
接触時に上記可動接点に得られるキーストローブ
信号を上記LSI１に入力するためのキー配線が、
その下面に形成されているシート状のフレキシブ
ルなキー配線基板、６は上記２枚のキー配線基板
４，５間に所定の間隙を設けるために挿入されて
いるスペーサ、７はキートツプ部が一体成形され
ているキーゴムである。
キー配線基板５の下面に形成されている各キー
配線は、図中Ａ部の圧着部に於て、キー配線基板
４上に設けられているLSI１との接続用配線の内
の対応するものとそれぞれ接続される構成となつ
ている。８及び９はキー配線基板５をキー配線基
板４に圧着するために、上キヤビネツト１０及び
キーゴム７にそれぞれ設けられている突起であ
る。
なお、１１は押さえ板、１２は下キヤビネツト
である。
以下、特徴部分について説明していく。
第２図は、液晶表示素子３、LSI１及びキー配
線基板４それぞれの、本発明に関連する部分を示
す平面図である。
図に示す如く、キー配線基板４の端部には複数
の配線部１３が設けられている。該複数の配線部
１３は２つに大別される。すなわち、その一は、
該キー配線基板４上の上記キー配線、または上記
キー配線基板５上のキー配線とLSI１とを接続す
るために該キー配線基板４上に形成されている上
記接続用配線と接続されており、該配線とLSI１
のキー入力用のリード端子１４１とを電気的に接
続するために設けられた配線部１３１であり、他
は、LSI１の表示駆動信号出力用のリード端子１
４２と液晶表示素子３の引き出し端子１５とを電
気的に接続するために設けられた配線部１３２で
ある。
上記配線部１３が設けられたキー配線基板４の
端部を、別途設けられる円柱状の弾性部材１６に
約半周巻き付け、該キー配線基板の端部が巻き付
けられた弾性部材１６を、上記押さえ板１１によ
る押圧力により、LSI１のリード端子１４と液晶
表示素子３のガラス基板１７との間に挾み込んで
保持する。これにより、上記配線部１３はLSI１
のリード端子１４及び液晶表示表子３の引き出し
端子１５に圧接され、該配線部１３を介して、
LSI１の表示駆動信号出力用のリード端子１４２
と液晶表示素子３の引き出し端子１５とが電気的
に接続されると共に、キー配線とLSI１のキー入
力用のリード端子１４１も電気的に接続される。
なお、１８は絶縁シートである。
また、１９は、上キヤビネツト１０に設けられ
た、キー配線基板４の位置決め用ピンであり、キ
ー配線基板４には上記ピン１９が嵌り込む位置決
め用の穴２０，２０が設けられている。
なお、２１，２２はLSI１の電源用リード端
子、２３は電源となる電池である（電池２３と端
子２１，２２間の電気的接続機構は、図に於ては
省略している）。
以上の説明から明らかな如く、本発明によれ
ば、特殊コネクタ等を何ら必要とせず、きわめて
簡単な構成で集積回路素子と表示素子との間の電
気的接続を達成させることができる電気接続装置
を得ることができるものである。

第１図は本発明を実施した電卓の内部構成を示
す断面図、第２図は同電卓に於ける液晶表示素
子、LSI及びキー配線基板それぞれの主要部を示
す平面図である。 符号、１：LSI、２：キー入力装置、３：液晶
表示素子、４：キー配線基板、１１：押さえ板、
１３：配線部、１４：リード端子、１５：引き出
し端子、１６：弾性部材、１７：ガラス基板。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ キー入力装置を構成するフレキシブルなキー
    配線基板と、表示素子と、上記キー入力装置より
    入力されるキー入力信号に基づいて所定の処理を
    実行し、所定の表示駆動信号を出力する内部回路
    を構成する集積回路素子とを有する電子機器に於
    て、 上記フレキシブルなキー配線基板の端部に、上
    記集積回路素子のリード端子と上記表示素子の引
    き出し端子との間の電気的接続を司どる複数の配
    線部を設け、該複数の配線部が設けられた上記端
    部を、上記複数の配線部が外側にくるように、別
    途設けられる円柱形状等の弾性部材に巻き付け、
    上記各配線部がそれぞれ所定のリード端子及び引
    き出し端子に圧接されるように、上記複数の配線
    部が設けられたフレキシブルなキー配線基板の端
    部が巻き付けられた上記弾性部材を上記集積回路
    素子のリード端子と上記表示素子の引き出し端子
    との間に挾み込む構成とすることによつて、上記
    集積回路素子と表示素子との間の電気接続を行う
    ようにしたことを特徴とする電気接続装置。
