    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. プラテンと用紙ガイド間に用紙を給送し、媒体検出機構
    によって媒体の有無を監視するプリンタにおいて、プラ
    テンと用紙との間にフイルム状部材を配設し、フイルム
    状部材の少なくとも一部に導電性部材を配設し、該導電
    性部材に対向して用紙を介し一対の接触子を設け、該接
    触子間の通電状態を監視する媒体検出機構を備えたこと
    を特徴とするプリンタ。
