…第２比較手段、２…ＡＮＤゲート。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ラインの印字を階調数に対応した回数繰り返
    すことによつて１ライン分の階調印字を行なうも
    のであつて、前記各回数毎の１ラインの印字にお
    いて、シフトクロツクに応答して１ラインの各ド
    ツトに対応する階調印字データを各ドツト毎に直
    列の２値の印字データに変換して前記シフトクロ
    ツクによりシフト動作を行なうシフトレジスタに
    出力し、該シフトレジスタから１ラインの並列の
    前記印字データをラツチし、ストローブ信号に応
    答して前記１ラインの印字を行なう熱印字ライン
    プリンタにおいて、 前記階調印字データを２値の印字データに変換
    するにあたり、該変換を行なう有効ドツト数をｍ
    （ｍは自然数）回毎の１ラインの印字の度に、ｎ
    （ｎは自然数）ドツトずつ増加させて行なうもの
    であつて、 各回数毎の１ラインの印字に際して前記変換を
    行なうべき前記有効ドツトの各ドツト毎に何階調
    目の印字に対応するかを示す階調データを出力す
    る階調データ出力手段と、 前記階調印字データと階調データ出力手段から
    の階調データとを各ドツト毎に比較して前記有効
    ドツトの印字データを出力する第１比較手段と、 前記階調データ出力手段からの階調データと階
    調印字可能な階調数とを比較してゲート信号を出
    力する第２比較手段と、 前記ゲート信号に応答して前記第１比較手段か
    らの有効ドツトの印字データを出力するゲート手
    段とを備えることを特徴とする熱印字ラインプリ
    ンタ。
