Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、繁雑な操作をしなくともヘツダー内
を所定の圧力に保持し得るようにした高温鋼材の
冷却装置に関する。

来の冷却装置の一例を第1図により説明すると、
円筒状のヘツダー1の下部に横断面矩形状のノズ
ル2を固着し、ヘツダー1の側部に給水管3を接
続し、該給水管3にオン・オフ弁4を有する送水
管5を接続し、ヘツダー1の上部に略U字形状の
排水管6を固着し、排水管6の下部に受管7を配
設し、ノズル2の下部に、油圧シリンダ8により
開閉するシヤツター9を上下に回動自在に取付
け、油圧シリンダ8に油を送る管10,11に切
換弁12を設ける。

開いたときにノズル2から流出するカーテン膜状
水流が乱れ、高温鋼材の冷却に悪影響を及ぼす。
このため、従来は冷却を停止する場合には、先ず
油圧シリンダ8を作動させてシヤツター9を閉止
し、しかる後ヘツダー1から排水管6へ入つた冷
却水の水柱Hが所定のレベルになつたらオン・オ
フ弁4を閉止していた。しかし、これは操作が繁
雑で作業が大変であつた。
