  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 固定軸１０と、該固定軸１０の外周をエアベア
    リング５を介して高速回転する光ビーム偏向用の
    ポリゴンミラー２０と、静止時の前記ポリゴンミ
    ラー２０を前記固定軸１０の上端部において上向
    きに支えるスラスト軸受１１とを具備してなるポ
    リゴンミラー駆動用動圧型スピンドル構成におい
    て、 前記スラスト軸受１１を含めて前記固定軸１０
    の上端部から軸心に沿つて穿設した空洞１３と、
    前記固定軸１０の基部付近における前記エアベア
    リング５のギヤツプに前記空洞１３を連通する排
    気孔１４とを設け、 高速回転に対応して発生する空気流１２が最短
    経路で循環するように循環経路を構成したことを
    特徴とするポリゴンミラー駆動用スピンドル。
