Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
この考案は内面処理した缶胴と端板との密封を
確実にすることを目的とした缶胴と端板との密封
装置に関するものである。

従来、缶胴と端板との密封については端縁の巻
締が一般に行われ、巻締部へゴム又は接着剤など
を介装することによつて気密性を確保している。
また缶胴と端板との材質が異なる場合(例えば紙
胴又は合成樹脂胴と金属端板)には、端縁の巻締
ができないので、端板の外縁に設けた逆U字状の
環状溝部を缶胴端に嵌装し、環状溝部の端縁に設
けた巻曲部で缶胴壁を強圧挟着して気密を保つよ
うにした技術も知られている。この考案は後者の
改良に属するもので、後者のように強圧挟着のみ
では密封性の信頼度が高くない場合があるので、
缶胴と端板の当接部を熱溶着し、強圧挟着による
密封性が不十分であつても、確実に封鎖する構造
に改善したものである。

胴又は合成樹脂胴と金属端板)には、端縁の巻締
ができないので、端板の外縁に設けた逆U字状の
環状溝部を缶胴端に嵌装し、環状溝部の端縁に設
けた巻曲部で缶胴壁を強圧挟着して気密を保つよ
うにした技術も知られている。この考案は後者の
改良に属するもので、後者のように強圧挟着のみ
では密封性の信頼度が高くない場合があるので、
缶胴と端板の当接部を熱溶着し、強圧挟着による
密封性が不十分であつても、確実に封鎖する構造
に改善したものである。
即ちこの考案を実施例について説明すれば、ポ
リエチレンにより内面処理した紙缶胴1の上端内
側へ、ポリエチレン層2を設けた押蓋状の端板3
を嵌挿すると共に、端板3の周縁に設けた断面逆
U字状の環状溝部4を紙缶胴端縁に嵌挿し、環状
溝部4の端縁巻曲部5を紙缶胴の嵌挿部外壁へ圧
着することにより端板の環状溝部により紙缶胴端
縁を強圧挟着する。前記強圧挟着と同時に、又は
別工程で端板外周の立上り部から環状溝部にかけ
て(第2図中鎖線6の範囲)加圧し、紙缶胴と端
板との当接部を加熱溶着して密封したものであ
る。図中7は紙缶胴1の上端縁部を折り返して形
成した環状の凸条であつて、該凸条7の下側は巻
曲部5の上側と掛止している。尚、前記凸条7
は、紙缶胴1の上端に予めフランジを形成してお
けば、前記巻曲部5の加圧時にフランジが折り返
されて自動的に形成される。前記実施例において
は紙缶胴を用いたが缶胴の材質は、紙の他に合成
樹脂が考えられ、缶胴内面は処理する場合と、し
ない場合とがある。例えば合成樹脂缶胴の場合
に、端板内面を前記缶胴と同質又は溶着性のある
合成樹脂で処理しておけば、缶胴の内面処理を要
しないことになる。

板との当接部を加熱溶着して密封したものであ
る。図中7は紙缶胴1の上端縁部を折り返して形

曲部5の上側と掛止している。尚、前記凸条7
は、紙缶胴1の上端に予めフランジを形成してお
けば、前記巻曲部5の加圧時にフランジが折り返
されて自動的に形成される。前記実施例において
は紙缶胴を用いたが缶胴の材質は、紙の他に合成
樹脂が考えられ、缶胴内面は処理する場合と、し
ない場合とがある。例えば合成樹脂缶胴の場合
に、端板内面を前記缶胴と同質又は溶着性のある
合成樹脂で処理しておけば、缶胴の内面処理を要
しないことになる。
次に内面処理の方法は、合成樹脂フイルムの層
着、合成樹脂液の塗布などが考えられる。

また加熱については端板側のチヤツクおよび巻

高周波を用いて局部加熱するなどの方法が考えら
れる。なおこの考案によれば、缶胴と端板の当接

必ずしも一回以上巻き込まなくても(第3図中5
a)十分目的を達成することができる。上記実施
例においては丸缶について説明したが、角缶にお
いても同様である。

着したので、端板周縁による挟着部の密封が不十
分の場合であつても、端板と缶胴とを完全かつ確
実に密封できる効果がある。然して端板取付時に
加熱すれば、取付工程が増加するおそれもない。
また、缶胴上端に、この上端部の折り返しにより
環状の凸条を設けるものとしたので、缶胴には予
めフランジを形成するのみでよく、巻曲部の加圧
によつてフランジが折り返されて自動的に凸条が
形成され、作業性が良いという効果が得られる。
また上記凸条は、缶胴の折り返しにより得られる
ので、厚みの大きな凸条が得られ、缶胴上端が補
強されると共に、大きな段差が生じ、これが端板
の巻曲部と確実に掛止して、端板の引き抜き方向
に働く力に対する抵抗力も倍増する。したがつて
万一熱溶着に不良が生じた場合においても端板と
缶胴とを完全に密封することができる。

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 1 内面処理した押蓋状の端板が缶胴上端部へ嵌
挿され、端板の外縁に設けた断面が逆U字状の
環状溝部が前記缶胴上端縁に嵌装固着され、前
記缶胴の上端部は折り返されて環状の凸条を形
成しており、前記環状溝部の外壁の下端内側に
連設した環状の巻曲部上端が前記缶胴上端に形
成された環状の凸条に掛止され、前記缶胴端部
と端板との当接部を加圧熱溶着してなる缶胴と
端板との密封装置。 2 缶胴を紙製もしくは合成樹脂製又はこれと紙
の積層板とし、端板を金属製とした実用新案登
録請求の範囲第1項記載の缶胴と端板との密封
装置。 3 内面処理は熱接着性合成樹脂層を設けること
により行つた実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記
