Claims (1)
- 絶縁基板上に上面の断面が円弧状のグレース層
を形成し、このグレース層上に複数個の発熱抵抗
体層を配設し、各発熱抵抗体層に電力を供給する
ための給電体層を発熱抵抗体層に接続し、これら
の発熱抵抗体層および給電体層上を保護層により
被覆してなるサーマルヘツドにおいて、前記グレ
ーズ層の頂部から印字方向先端側にずれたグレー
ズ層の上に、帯状突部を形成し、この帯状突部上
に前記発熱抵抗体層の発熱部を配設し、前記帯状
突部上の保護層の高さをグレーズ層の頂部上の保
護層の高さ以上としたことを特徴とするサーマル
ヘツド。
