Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate transformer and converter for regulating unbalanced current between two parallel units, by setting a reactor with a mid-point, between a transformer and a converter.
CONSTITUTION: The primary winding P of a main transformer T is electrically conducted via a pantograph PT through an aerial conductor CW. In the meantime, a secondary winding is divided into L1'WL4', and to the windings L1'WL3', main thyristor bridges MRf1'WMRf3' are connected, and to the winding L4', the thyristor bridges MRf41'WMRf42' of 1/2 current capacity are connected. Besides, on the counter thyristor side of the winding L4', a reactor BL with a mid-point is connected. As a result, when current amounts I1 and I2 flowing between two sets of parallel armatures(A11WA14 and A21WA24) are turned unbalanced, then circulating current flows due to the action of the reactor BL with the mid-point so that I1=I2 may be set.
