Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a fire accident by artificially manipulating a support means so as to manually release a support condition of a hood which drops under gravitational force and which creates an irrespirable atmosphere around a gas table and a cooking pot in a tight-close condition. CONSTITUTION: A fire-extinguishing hood 16 supported at a constant height H of 1,000 to 1,700mm from a floor F and positioned directly above a gas table in a gas stove 10, is made of a refractory material which is relatively lightweight, and has a size which can surround the gas table 11 and a cooking pot 15 and a planar box shape. The gas stove 10 or a pair of left and right elevating guide support poles 19 planted to the floor F, upright therefrom are formed in a U-like cross-sectional shape. Further, a hood support means 25 is artificially manipulated to manually release the support condition of the hood 16 which therefore drops under gravitational force, and creates an irrespirable atmosphere around the gas table 11 and the cooking pot 15 which are set on the gas stove and are being used, in a tight-seal condition. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a fire accident.
