Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable manual operation upon emergency by arranging a solenoid and manual changeover valves switchable between a position for communicating operating chambers of a pneumatic actuator and a control valve and a position for communicating an air tank with the pneumatic actuator in the way of a path coupling between the operating chambers of the pneumatic actuator and the control valve. CONSTITUTION:Operating chamber 31 of a pneumatic actuator 5 and operating chamber of a control valve 30 are coupled to a pipe 19, and a manual changeover valve Z is switched when a solenoid changeover valve C inserted in the way of the pipe 19 is disabled because of fault. Consequently, air is fed from an air tank 2 through a manual changeover valve into the operating chamber 31 of the pneumatic actuator 5. On the other hand, operating chamber 22 of the control valve 30 is closed. As a result, a piston 15, a piston 11 and a rod 12 in a hydraulic device 10 are pushed to the right by the pneumatic actuator 5 and the clutch is disengaged. When the manual control valve Z is reset, air in the operating chamber 31 of the pneumatic actuator 5 is fed through the solenoid changeover valve C and the manual changeover valve Z into the operating chamber 22 of the control valve 30 and discharged through an atmospheric chamber 21 and a bleezer to the atmosphere so as to engage the clutch.
