Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the low cost of a precise device and to simplify assembling stages by constituting a supporting part which locates a photosensitive body and supports it and a supporting part which locates a deflection means and supports it in an integrally formed body. CONSTITUTION:A polygonal scanner unit 102 consisting of a polygonal mirror 102a which is the reference of light scanning, a rotary axis 102b, a printing substrate and a motor part and the locating part 121a for a photosensitive drum which is scanned with light are constituted in the integrally formed body. And the locating part 121 for a process cartridge is also constituted in the integrally formed body. Moreover, the locating part for the respective optical members such as a laser light source unit 106, a lens unit 105, a detection unit 103 which detects the deflecting position of a laser beam and a mirror unit 104 for guiding the laser beam to a detection part is constituted in the integrally formed body. Thus, the assembly can be simplified and the low cost of the device can be enhanced, and also the precise recorded image can be obtained.
