Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve storing efficiency and work efficiency by fixing a take-out stopper individually to the take-out port of an inclined shelf having lowered take-out side, then running a lifting/lowering carriage mounting a fork, a picking means and a transferring means having a stopper releasing means. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 4 having a preceding stopper chip 4a and a following stopper chip 4b is mounted on a shelf 3 inclining downward so as to stop a storing box 2 by means of the preceding stopper chip 4a. Then a lifting/lowering carriage 6 is run along the shelf 1 to a desired position. Thereafter, the preceding stopper 4a is pushed down by a stopper release lever 8a in a material storing box transferring means 8. Then the storing box 2 is taken out through the transferring means 8. During this interval, the following stopper 4b is projected through pushing-down of the preceding stopper 4a thus stopping a following storing box 2'. With such arrangement, storing efficiency and work efficiency can be improved.
