Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a readily edible scaly HIZIKIA sprinkling, having excellent texture, color tone, flavor, etc., by blending powdered HIZIKIA (Hizikia fusifome Okamura) with a seasoning solution, drying the resultant blend into a thin film-like dried material using a drum dryer and pulverizing the dried material. CONSTITUTION:Powdered HIZIKIA is placed in a seasoning solution prepared by adding a seasoning to water and the seasoned HIZIKIA is then applied in the form of a thin film to the outer surface of a heated drum in a drum dryer, dried, then scraped from the heated drum and pulverized to afford the aimed scaly sprinkling.
