Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide excellent light flux decay preventing effect by dispersing fluorescent particles in a dielectric film, in which a fluorescent layer is formed through coating and baking of an organic metal compound solution containing fluorescent particles.
CONSTITUTION: Ultraviolet rays are generated through electric discharge of gases encapsulated in a bulb 1 and converted into visible light at a fluorescent layer 2 furnished on the inner wall surface of the bulb 1. In the fluorescent layer 2 of a fluorescent lamp emitting this visible light, fluorescent particles 2a are dispersed in a dielectric film 2b. The fluorescent layer 2 is formed by coating and baking a solution over the inner wall surface of the bulb 1, wherein the solution contains alcohol diluted solution of organic metal compound to become dielectric film 2b with fluorescent particles 2a dispersed. This accomplishes a fluorescent lamp having excellent light flux decay preventing effect.
