  1. ウオータシールをウオータポンプの圧力側に装
    着している内燃機関用ウオータポンプにおいて、
    ポンプ本体のスクロールの背面にポンプ吸込孔と
    連通しているサーモスタツトよりのバイパス水を
    受入れるバイパス室を設け、バイパス室とインペ
    ラ背面のシール室とをキリ孔で連通させて成る、
    内燃機関用ウオータポンプのシール冷却装置。
