Abstract

PURPOSE:To display whether an input signal is within a prescribed frequency range or not with a simple constitution by sampling the input signal to determine a frequency and providing a means which discriminates whether this frequency is within the preliminarily set frequency range of spectrum or not. CONSTITUTION:The signal extracted by a mixer 23 is converted to an FSK low frequency signal by a frequency converter 26 and is inputted to a spectrum display device 10. A CPU 4 of the display device 10 samples the binary signal inputted through a waveform shaping circuit 2 and a buffer memory 3 and counts the number of samples for a prescribed time and calculates the frequency of the inputted binary signal in accordance with this counted value. The CPU 4 discriminates which preliminarily set frequency range the calculated frequency is within, and the signal which lights one of light emitting diodes D0-D10 corresponding to this frequency range of spectrum is outputted to a driving circuit 7.
