Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformize the values of resistance of respective discrete leads by a usual pattern forming process even if the discrete leads have a fine pattern, by a method wherein a lead has a two-layer construction of a resistor layer and a conductor layer, and the lower resistor layer is exposed by removing a part of the upper conductor layer. CONSTITUTION:On a ceramics substrate 1 of alumina or the like a glaze layer 2 is provided to serve as a base for forming heat generation parts in projected form. On the substrate, a common lead 6 and discrete leads 5, consisting of a resistor layer 3 as a lower and a conductor layer 4 as an upper layer, are formed. A plurality of resistor-exposing parts 30 forming the heat generation parts are provided, and the common lead 6 is patterned commonly to the respective heat generation parts. Moreover,the discrete leads 5 for selectively passing an electric current to the respective heat generation parts 30 are patterned. In the middle of the respective discrete leads 5, resistors 31 are exposedly formed with distances l set different by every discrete lead, whereby the values of resistance of all the discrete leads are made equal.
