Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in heat resistance, mechanical strengths, adhesiveness and electroconductivity, by mixing an ethylene copolymer comprising ethylene and a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid with an electroconductive particles. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene (a) is copolymerized with an unsaturated carboxylic acid (b) of formula I (wherein R<1-2> are each H, a halogen, a 1-20C alkyl, a 3-30C alkenyl, a 3-20C cycloalkyl, a 6-20C aryl or a 7-20C aralkyl, R<3> is H, a 1-20C alkyl, a 3-30C alkenyl, a 3-20C cycloalkyl, a 6-20C aryl or a 7-20C aralkyl and n is 0-20) at a pressure of normal pressure to 30kg/cm<2> G and -80-200 deg.C for 1min-10hr in the presence of a polymerization catalyst (c) based on a transition metal compound and an organometallic compound and a Lewis acid (d) to obtain an ethylene copolymer (A) having a weight- average MW>=5,000, a content (X) of component (b)-derived component of 0.001-40mol.% and satisfying the relationship of formula II (wherein X is as defined above, and Tm is the melting point of the copolymer). 100pts.wt. component A is mixed with 5-100pts.wt. electroconductive particles.
