Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, consisting of a dispersion prepared by adding a specific acrylic acid ester copolymer resin emulsion and a reactive diluent and capable of reinforcing weak parts of building base materials and improving adhesive properties of facing materials. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by adding (B) 5-40pts.wt. reactive diluent having >=2 epoxy groups in the molecule (e.g. ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether) to (A) 100pts.wt. acrylic acid ester synthetic copolymer emulsion prepared by emulsion copolymerizing (i) 2-20wt.% alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomer (e.g. acrylic acid) having active hydrogen atom with (ii) 98-80wt.% copolymerizable alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomer (e.g. methyl acrylate) in the presence of a reactive emulsifying agent.
