Abstract

The control means 43 controls an electronic spark-advance means 50, electronic fuel injection means 51 and electronic exhaust circulation means 52 as operation means for controlling the engine from a cylinder starting valve opening operation after a lapse of the delay time determined from the change signal output of a valve operation changing means 10 depending upon the factors related to the operation speed in order in the mode corresponding to the operation mode of the valve operation changing means 10. This make it possible to perform control with valve operation mode surely matched with control factors except for valve operation, which surely improves operability and exhaustibility.
