Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high brush assembly which is high in its quality and with good efficiency, by forming spring pedestals nearly into shapes for a final use beforehand and disposing them at fixed periods and using substrates which are connected serially with suspension bands respectively through linkage parts. CONSTITUTION:In a brush assembly substrate 1, linkage parts 3 are mounted at fixed periods on sides of suspension hands 2, and spring pedestals 6 consisting of a spring part 4 and a mount part 5 are formed nearly into shapes for use and connected on the linkage parts 3, and two rows of projections 8, 9 are formed on a tip part 7 of each spring part 4 so that conductors 11 consisting of thin lines 10 are welded. When the conductors are mounted on a surface of the projection and recessed parts 12 are contacted with the respective thin lines 10 on their at least two points so that pressure at the time of welding is not applied to them, close welding can be performed very uniformly without the thin lines being shifted at the time of welding, so that stable welding strength can be obtained.
