CONSTITUTION:A switching regulator 1 comprises a switching circuit 2, a smoothing circuit 4 and a voltage comparing circuit 6. A positive feedback circuit 8 for differentiating a, switching pulse outputted from a switching transistor(Tr1) and lapping the switching pulse over a control signal is provided. The positive feedback circuit 8 connects the bases of transistors Tr1 and Tr2 through a capacitor C2. Consequently, ON/OFF operation of Tr1 is made sharp, switching transition time is shortened and rower loss due to inner impedance of components is reduced.
