Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a controlled system from falling to an undesirable state by storing the monitoring result of a monitoring circuit of input/output states of an electronic control circuit CPU to control the output gate of the CPU and monitoring the gate control output by the CPU. CONSTITUTION:A required control output is supplied to output gates AG1-AG3 from the electronic control circuit CPU in accordance with inputs from clutch, set, resume, and brake switches SW2-SW6, etc. Simultaneously, outputs of switches SW4 and SW5 are processed by a NAND gate NAND 1 to monitor the input/output state of the CPU and an R-S FF is set to store the monitoring result. Gates AG1-AG3 are opened by the Q' output L signal of the FF, and the Q' output is supplied to the CPU also to monitor whether the state of the monitoring circuit is monitored by the CPU. Consequently, the state of the monitoring circuit which monitors the input/output state of the CPU is monitored by the CPU to prevent the controlled system from falling to an undesirable state.
