Abstract
Description
Claims (9)
- 액티브 영역 및 패드 영역으로 정의된 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판 그리고 그 사이에 액정이 봉입된 액정 디스플레이 패널에 있어서,상기 액티브 영역에 형성된 복수의 박막트랜지스터 및 화소전극들;상기 액티브 영역의 주변을 따라 씨일재가 형성된 씨일 영역;상기 씨일 영역을 제외한 상기 액티브 영역 및 패드 영역에 형성되는 차광층을 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 씨일재는 자외선 경화용 씨일재인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액티브 영역의 차광층은 매트릭스 형태를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널.
- 액티브 영역 및 패드 영역으로 정의된 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판 그리고 상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 합착하기 위한 씨일재가 형성된 씨일 영역을 갖는 액정 디스플레이 패널의 제조에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판상의 액티브 영역에 복수의 박막트랜지스터 및 화소전극들을 형성하는 공정;상기 액티브 영역의 주변을 따라 자외선 경화형 씨일재를 형성하는 공정;상기 씨일재가 형성된 영역을 제외한 상기 제 2 기판상에 차광층을 형성하는 공정;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 합착하는 공정;상기 제 2 기판상에 자외선을 조사하여 상기 씨일재를 경화시키는 공정을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 차광층을 형성하는 공정은,상기 제 2 기판 상에 차광용 물질층을 형성하는 공정과,상기 액티브 영역에 상응하는 부위는 매트릭스 형태를 갖고 상기 씨일 영역에 상응하는 부위는 오픈된 마스크를 이용하여 상기 차광용 물질층을 식각하는 공정을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 차광층을 형성한 후, 상기 제 2 기판 상의 액티브 영역에 복수의 칼라필터 패턴을 형성하는 공정을 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
- 제 1 기판 위에 자외선 경화형 씨일재를 소정의 패턴으로 형성하는 공정;상기 씨일재로 둘러싸인 제 1 기판의 표면에 액정을 적하하는 공정;제 2 기판 위에 상기 씨일재가 형성된 영역을 제외한 영역에 차광층을 형성하는 공정;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 합착하는 공정;상기 제 2 기판 상에 자외선을 조사하여 상기 씨일재를 경화시키는 공정을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 기판 위에 스페이서를 형성하는 공정을 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 합착하는 공정은 진공 중에서 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 제조방법.
