Claims (13)
- 지지 기판 상에 하부 전극과 상부 전극 사이에 유기 발광 매체가 개재되어 지지되도록 구성한 전기발광(EL) 소자, 밀봉 매체 및 밀봉용 부재를 포함하는 유기 EL 표시장치에 있어서,상부 전극측에서 전기발광을 취출시키는 것으로, 하기 수학식 1을 만족시킴을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 1n1≥n2≥n3상기 식에서,n1은 상부 전극의 굴절률이고,n2는 밀봉 매체의 굴절률이고,n3은 밀봉용 부재의 굴절률이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,밀봉 매체와 밀봉용 부재 사이에 색 변환 매체를 배치시키고 하기 수학식 2를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 2n1≥n2≥n4≥n3상기 식에서,n1 내지 n3은 제 1 항에서 정의한 바와 동일하고,n4는 색 변환 매체의 굴절률이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,밀봉용 부재에서 밀봉 매체가 배치된 측과 반대측에 색 변환 매체를 배치시키고 하기 수학식 3을 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 3n1≥n2≥n3≥n4'상기 식에서,n1 내지 n3은 제 1 항에서 정의한 바와 동일하고,n4'은 색 변환 매체의 굴절률이다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,굴절률 n1 및 n2가 하기 수학식 4를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 4n2≥0.7×n1
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,밀봉 매체의 굴절률이 1.56 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,밀봉 매체가 투명성 수지 및/또는 밀봉액으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,밀봉 매체가 투명한 무기물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상부 전극이 인듐 아연 산화물을 주성분으로서 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.
- 지지 기판 상에 하부 전극 및 상부 전극 사이에 유기 발광 매체가 개재되어 지지되도록 구성한 유기 EL 소자를 포함하는 유기 EL 표시장치에 있어서,하부 전극측에서 전기발광을 취출시키는 것으로, 지지 기판과 하부 전극 사이에 색 변환 매체 및 투명성 수지층, 또는 이 중 어느 하나를 배치시키고 하기 수학식 5 내지 수학식 8 중 하나를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 5n5≥n6≥n8수학식 6n5≥n7≥n8수학식 7n5≥n6≥n7≥n8수학식 8n5≥n7≥n6≥n8상기 식에서,n5는 하부 전극의 굴절률이고,n6은 색 변환 매체의 굴절률이고,n7은 투명성 수지층의 굴절률이고,n8은 지지 기판의 굴절률이다.
- 지지 기판 상에 하부 전극과 상부 전극 사이에 유기 발광 매체가 개재되어 지지되도록 구성한 유기 EL 소자를 포함하는 유기 EL 표시장치에 있어서,하부 전극측에서 전기발광을 취출시키는 것으로, 지지 기판에서 하부 전극이 배치된 측과 반대측에 색 변환 매체를 배치시키고 하기 수학식 9를 만족시킴을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 9n5≥n8≥n9상기 식에서,n5는 하부 전극의 굴절률이고,n8은 지지 기판의 굴절률이고,n9는 색 변환 매체의 굴절률이다.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 하부 전극과 지지 기판 사이에 투명성 수지층을 배치시키고 하기 수학식 10을 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 10n5≥n7≥n8≥n9상기 식에서,n5, n8 및 n9는 제 9 항에서 정의된 바와 동일하고,n7은 투명성 수지층의 굴절률이다.
- 제 9 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,굴절률 n5, n6 또는 n7이 하기 수학식 11 또는 수학식 12를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.수학식 11n6≥0.7×n5수학식 12n7≥0.7×n5상기 식에서,n5 내지 n7은 제 9 항에서 정의된 바와 동일하다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,지지 기판 상에 유기 EL 소자를 구동시키기 위한 박막 트랜지스터를 배치시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 표시장치.
