Abstract

La présente invention propose, entre autres, des compositions pour dépôt destinées au traitement ou à la prophylaxie d'infestations par des parasites chez des mammifères ou des oiseaux qui comprend : (1) au moins un dérivé de l'acide nodulisporique ; (2) un véhicule vecteur liquide acceptable ; et (3) facultativement, un inhibiteur de cristallisation. L'invention propose également un procédé destiné au traitement d'infestations parasitaires ou à la prophylaxie d'infestation par des parasites chez des mammifères ou des oiseaux qui comprend appliquer de manière topique audit mammifère ou oiseau une quantité efficace d'une composition conformément à la présente invention. En outre, la présente invention se rapporte à un procédé d'amidification destiné à préparer des dérivés amide de l'acide nodulisporique et à l'intermédiaire formé dans ce procédé.
