Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode d'amélioration de la capacité de stockage de graines, consistant à stocker les graines en présence d'un absorbeur d'oxygène. De préférence, les graines sont stockées dans un réceptacle fermé. Dans un premier mode de réalisation, l'absorbeur d'oxygène n'élimine pas l'humidité de l'intérieur du réceptacle. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'absorbeur d'oxygène élimine l'humidité de l'intérieur du réceptacle. Les graines peuvent être stockées à une température entre une température de congélateur et la température à laquelle les graines perdent leur viabilité. Lors du stockage des graines selon l'invention, la température de stockage peut être beaucoup plus élevée.
