Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode pour administrer de faibles doses d'algues aux bovins afin d'augmenter le niveau d'acides gras polyinsaturés oméga 3, y compris l'acide docosahexaénoïque (dha) et l'acide eicosapenténoïque (epa) dans des environnements commerciaux d'alimentation de bovins. La méthode pour augmenter le niveau d'acides gras oméga-3 chez les bovins, qui consiste à nourrir les bovins entre environ 0,05 et 0,8 livre par jour d'algues.
