Abstract

La présente invention concerne un chariot (104a) comportant une roue (222a à 222d), un moteur d'entraînement (226a) accouplé à la roue de telle sorte qu'une sortie du moteur d'entraînement (226a) amène la roue (222a à 222d) à tourner et à propulser le chariot (104a), un dispositif informatique de chariot (228a) couplé en communication au moteur d'entraînement (226a) ; et des capteurs (232a, 234a) couplés en communication au dispositif informatique de chariot (228a), les capteurs (232a, 234a) générant un ou plusieurs signaux en réponse à un événement détecté. Le dispositif informatique de chariot (228a) reçoit de la piste (102) un signal de communication et de l'énergie électrique par l'intermédiaire de la roue (222a à 222d). Le signal de communication correspond à une ou plusieurs instructions destinées à commander une manœuvre du chariot (104a). Le dispositif informatique de chariot (228a) reçoit (232a, 234a) lesdits signaux en provenance des capteurs. Le dispositif informatique de chariot (228a) génère un signal de commande et émet ce dernier en direction du moteur d'entraînement (226a) pour amener le moteur d'entraînement (226a) à fonctionner sur la base d'au moins un signal parmi lesdits signaux générés par les capteurs (232a, 234a) ou du signal de communication.
