Abstract
Un procédé de fabrication d'un fil élastique (9) comprend les étapes consistant à fournir une mèche (1) constituée d'une fibre naturelle à base de coton à un pourcentage en poids d'au moins 50 % et ayant une densité de masse linéique établie entre 0,1 nm et 50 nm, de préférence entre 0,3 nm et 25 nm, à une unité d'étirage (30), et une étape consistant à l'extraire de l'unité d'étirage (30) à une vitesse supérieure à la vitesse de déroulement ; à tirer conjointement la mèche étirée (3) et une fibre élastique (2) à travers une unité de chevauchement (40) par une unité de filage annulaire (50), formant une bobine (59) de fil élastique, la fibre élastique (2) comprenant un caoutchouc naturel contenant plus de 80 % de polyisoprène 1,4-cis ainsi que du soufre en tant qu'agent de vulcanisation à une concentration comprise entre 0,5 % et 3,0 % en poids, et également : un accélérateur de vulcanisation et un activateur de vulcanisation ; un agent anti-collant ; un agent antioxydant ; un agent de stabilisation, la fibre élastique (2) obtenue par découpe longitudinale d'un fil plat en caoutchouc naturel coupé longitudinalement, de manière à atteindre une densité de masse linéique comprise entre 50 dtex et 1000 dtex, de préférence entre 100 dtex et 800 dtex, en particulier entre 150 dtex et 500 dtex. De cette manière, la composition en caoutchouc naturel mentionnée ci-dessus permet d'obtenir un fil élastique à base de coton qui n'est pas susceptible de se casser que ce soit lorsqu'il est filé ou lorsqu'il est utilisé pour fabriquer un tissu, en particulier un tissu denim. L'invention concerne un fil élastique ainsi obtenu et un tissu, en particulier un tissu denim, fabriqué à partir de ce fil.
