Abstract

The invention relates to the chemistry of coordinative compounds of the transition metals, binuclear complexes of copper from the class of salicylideneiminoalcoholates with imidazole as bridge ligand, namely to (µ-imi-da-zole-N,N')-bis{4-bromo-2-[2-(oxyethylimino)-methyl]-phenolato(2-)-copper}, which may be applied in medicine or veterinary medicine.Summary of the invention consists in the synthesis of (µ-imidazole-N,N')-bis{4-bromo-2-[2-(oxyethylimino)-methyl]-phenolato(2-)-copper of the for-mula:manifesting antimycotic activity.The result of the invention consists in obtaining a new coordinative compound manifesting antimycotic activity with respect to the mold and yeast fungi, exceeding 1,2…1,5 times the activity of the analogue.
