Abstract
La tecnología actual se refiere a diversas configuraciones de elementos de filtro, en que una capa de sustrato define una superficie que tiene un tratamiento. El tratamiento aumenta un ángulo de balanceo de la primera superficie para una gota de agua de 50 µL cuando la primera superficie se sumerge en tolueno. El elemento de filtro puede tener una carcasa y el sustrato dispuesto en la carcasa. En algunas modalidades, la capa de sustrato define una pluralidad de pliegues que se extienden entre pliegues plegados que forman caras de flujo de los medios. En algunas modalidades, el sustrato está incorporado en un medio de revestimiento único de un elemento de filtro.
