Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere al ácido silicico de precipitacion que tiene los siguientes datos característicos físico-químicos: Superficie BET: DIN 66131 100 130 M2/G; Absorcion DBP DIN 53601 > o igual que 275 g/100g; (anhidro): ASTM D 2414; Pérdida debida al DIN ISO 787/II; secado ASTM D 280 3,5 - 5,5% en peso; (2 h/105 degree C): JIS K 5101/21; Residuos de criba con criba para chorro de aire ALPINE. > 63 æm < o igual que 10,0 % en peso; > 150 æm < o igual que 0,1% en peso; > 250 æm < o igual que 0,01 % en peso; Contenido de cloruro < o igual que 100 ppm se produce preparando agua en un recipiente de precipitacion, añadiendo silicato sodico hasta alcanzar un 10 índice de alcalinidad de 5 - 15, añadiendo después simultáneamente más silicato sodico y ácido sulfurico, acidificando la suspension de ácido silicico de precipitacion con ácido sulfurico hasta alcanzar un valor pH de 8,5, interrumpiendo la adicion del ácido sulfurico 15 removiendo, continuando después la acidificacion hasta alcanzar un pH = 4 con ácido sulfurico concentrado, separando a continuacion ácido silicico de precipitacion cuyo contenido de solidos en la suspension es de aprox. 88 g/l, lixiviándolo, licuando la torta de filtro obtenida, secándola mediante un secador por pulverizacion y moliéndola. El ácido silicico de precipitacion puede emplearse para la fabricacion de separadores para acumuladores.
