Abstract
"áCIDO SILìCICO, PROCESSO PARA SUA PREPARAçãO E SEU USO". ácido silícico precipitado com as seguintes características físicas-químicas: Superfície BET DIN 66131 100 - 130 m¬ 2¬/g Absorção DBP DIN 53601 <242> 275 g/100 g (anídrica) ASTM D 2414 Perda na secagem DIN ISO 787/II (2 h/105<198>C) ASTM D 280 3,5 - 5,5 em porcentagem de peso JIS K 5101/21 Superdimensionada com peneira de jato de ar ALPINE: > 63 <109>m <243> 10,0 em porcentagem de peso > 150 <109>m <243> 0,1 em porcentagem de peso > 250 <109>m <243> 0,01 em porcentagem de peso Teor de cloro: <243> 100 ppm é preparada com a introdução de água em um vaso de precipitação, acrescentando silicato de sódio até que um valor alcalino de 5 - 15 seja alcançado, acrescentando, então, silicato de sódio adicional e ácido sulfúrico simultaneamente, interrompendo a suspensão de ácido silícico precipitado com ácido sulfúrico até um valor de pH de 8,5, com agitação, depois continuando a acidificação com ácido sulfúrico concentrado até um valor de pH de 4, separando e lavando, em seguida, o ácido silícico precipitado, a qual apresenta um teor de sólidos na suspensão de aproximadamente 88 g/1, liquefazendo a torta de filtro obtida, secando-a com um secador de sopro e triturando-a. O ácido silícico precipitado pode ser usado para a produção de separadores de bateria.
