Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con una formulacion farmacéutica para administracion subcutánea, intramuscular o intradérmica, que comprende un factor de coagulacion VIII o un factor de coagulacion IX y con el uso de la misma para la manufactura de un medicamento para tratar la hemofilia A o B. La formacion comprende un factor de coagulacion VIII o un factor de coagulacion IX con una actividad de al menos 200 U-l./ml y un aditivo que incrementa la biodisponibilidad del factor VIII o del factor IX. Las pruebas con el factor VIII proporcionan un nivel terapéutico del factor VIII activo dentro de la corriente sanguínea durante un período de tiempo sorprendentemente largo después de la administracion subcutánea, intramuscular o intradérmica. El factor VIII es adecuadamente un factor VIII recombinante altamente purificado y preferentemente un derivado de deleccion del mismo, el cual puede utilizarse para la manufactura de un medicamento para administracion subcutánea.
