Abstract
Information registration is effected by (a) applying a base voltage between a layer of semiconducting material dispersed in a nonconducting layer of a registration sheet and an electrode outside the registration sheet, and (b) superimposing on this base voltage another voltage varying with the information to be registered, in such a manner that at least the maximum of the voltage produced by superimposition leads to discharge. Information is registered using relatively low voltages.
