Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører agglomerering eller brikettering av et mineral i findelt granulær tilstand på under 5 mm for smelting, som kan være blandet med finstoffer, ved konglomerering av mineralet med et bindemiddel fremstilt av i det minste natriumsilikat, akrylharpiks, vinylalkohol, boraks, magnesiumklorid og om nødvendig under smelting, en antioksidant, så som natrium. De sammenbundne konglomerater eller briketter har meget gode styrkeegenskaper.
