Abstract

Et system og en fremgangsmåte er skaffet tilveie for å separere vann fra et løsemiddel i en renseapplikasjon. Ifølge oppfinnelsen er et innløp i stand til å motta en blanding av silikonbasert rensefluid og vann fra en kondensator i et renseapparat. Et kammer er koblet til innløpet for mottagelse av blandingen fra innløpet. En porøs struktur er plassert i kammeret for å separere rensefluidet og vannet. Rensefluidet passerer gjennom porer i den porøse strukturen. Et utløp er koblet til kammeret for å fjerne rensefluidet fra kammeret i stort sett fraværet av vannet. Et system for å rense plagg består av sirkulering av siloksanløsemiddel gjennom en trommel, drenering av trommelen i tanker, sentrifuger- ing av plaggene og deretter tørking av plaggene og utvinning av siloksanløsemiddel, og deretter kjøling av plaggene og fjerning av plaggene. I tillegg sørger evnen til å fjerne plagg etter sentrifugering og overføring av plaggene til en utvinningstørker for større effektivitet.
