Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en kompositt-gass-separasjonsmodul og fremgangsmåter for å fremstille en kompositt-gass-separasjonsmodul. Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår også fremgangsmåter for selektivt å skille hydrogengass fra en hydrogengassholdig gassformig strøm. I én utførelse inkluderer gassseparasjonsmodulen et porøst metallsubstrat; et mellomliggende porøst metallsjikt, hvor det mellomliggende porøse metallsjiktet ligger over det porøse metallsubstratet; samt en tett hydrogenselektiv membran, hvor den tette hydrogenselektive membranen ligger over det mellomliggende porøse metallsjiktet. Det mellomliggende porøse metallsjiktet kan inkludere palladium og et metall fra gruppe IB. For eksempel kan det mellomliggende porøse metallsjiktet inneholde alternerende sjikt av palladium og et metall fra gruppe IB.
