Abstract
Forbedret fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av titandioksid ved å omsette en titandioksid-malm med klor slik at det dannes en gasstrøm som inneholder titantetraklorid, kondensere titantefraklorid fiia gasstrømmen hvorved det dannes klorerer-restgass, fordampe det kondenserte titantetraklorid, omsette det fordampede titantetraklorid med oksygen slik at det dannes en gasstrøm som inneholder titandioksidpartikler og klor, separere titandioksidpartiklene fiia gasstrømmen som inneholder titandioksidpartikler og klor, hvorved det dannes brenner-restgass, og analysere klorerer-reslgassen med hensyn på gjenværende klor for å regulere trinnet hvor titandioksidmalm omsettes med klor og/eller analysere brenner-restgassen med hensyn på oksygen for å regulere trinnet hvor det kondenserte titantefraklorid omsettes med oksygen. Forbedringen er å analysere klorerer-reslgassen for gjenværende klor og/eller brenner-reslgassen for oksygen ved å anvende en direktekoblet analysator.
