Abstract

Fremgangsmåte ved fremstilling av rent silisium metall for solcelleformål og amorf silika som tilsetningsmiddel til maling og andre kjemiske produkter ved reduksjon av kvarts (Si02) i ett trirm. Kvartspulver med komstørrelse d50 < 35 nm irmføres i en plasmaovn og der blir redusert med minst ett egnet reduksjonsmiddel idet kvartspulveret blir irmført i ovnen ved hjelp av en bæregass eller ved hjelp et gassformig reduksjonsmiddel. Reduksjonsmidlet er typisk metan, hydrogen eller naturgass, eventuelt i kombinasjon med karbonpulver. Oppflrmelsen angår også rent silisiummetall og amorf silika fremstilt i henhold til nevnte fremgangsmåte.
