Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår prosesser for fremstilling av propen fra propan, omfattende trinnene: A) en gasstrømtilførsel a omfattende propan tilveiebringes; B) gasstrømtilførselen a omfattende propan, eventuelt damp og eventuelt og en oksygenholdig gasstrøm blir matet inn i en dehydrogeneringssone og propan blir utsatt for en dehydrogenering til propen for å oppnå en produktgasstrøm b omfattende propan, propen, metan, etan, eten, hydrogen, eventuelt karbonmonoksid, karbondioksid, damp og oksygen; C) produktgasstrømmen b blir avkjølt, eventuelt komprimert og damp blir fjernet ved kondensering for å oppnå en damp-utarmet produktgasstrøm c; D) produktgasstrømmen c blir bragt i kontakt med en selektiv adsorbent som adsorberer propen selektivt under de valgte adsorpsjonsbetingelser for å oppnå en propenfylt adsorbent og en propen-utarmet gasstrøm d2 omfattende propan, metan, etan, eten og hydrogen, karbonmonoksid og karbondioksid; E) en propenholdig gasstrøm e1 blir frigjort fra den propanfylte adsorbent ved trykkreduksjon og/eller oppvarmning av adsorbenten.
