Abstract
Bryter- og fremvisningselement på basis av ferro-elektriske flytendekrystaller viser ofte en utpreget optisk hysterese som farer til opptreden av såkalte spøkelsesbilder. Dette fenomenet kan reduseres betydelig eller sågar undertrykkes når minst en av de to elektrodene i slike elementer står i umiddelbar kontakt med det flytendekrystallinske mediet.
