Abstract
En todimensjonal video-konvolverer (10) genererer visuelt godtagbare bilder på en vanlig fjernsynsmottaker og innbefatter et første adderertrinn (12,14), et andre adderertrinn (16,18,20), og to bildeelement-tidsperiodeforsinkelser (22, 24). Det første adderertrinnet mottar samtidig binære data fra tre hosliggende bildeelementer i en forutbestemt linje i den første retning av et bilde som skal gjengis på en fremviser under hver bildeelement-avsøksperiode. De binære data i hvert av tre bildeelementer behandles med en forutbestemt vekt for å generere et binært første trinns utgangssignal som er representativt for en veiet sum av flertallet av de tre bildeelementene i den forutbestemte linjen. Det andre adderertrinnet reagerer på det binære første addertrinnets utgangssignal under en tidsperiode for hver av tre forutbestemte, hosliggende linjer i en andre ortogonal retning av et bilde som skal gjengis på en fremviser. Det andre adderertrinnet behandler den binære, veiede summen av hver av de tre linjene med en forutbestemt vekt for å generere et video- konvolvererutgangssignal som er representativt for en veiet sum av de tre bildeelementene i en første retning over tre hosliggende linjer i en andre ortogonal retning.
