Abstract

En videoforstørrelsesanordning (46) modifiserer (krymper eller forstørrer) videografikkbilder i en horisontal og vertikal retning under overføring av videografikkdatasignaler fra et grafikkminne til en fjernsynsskjerm. En første forstørrelsesmodifiserende anordning (160) modifiserer forstørrelsen av grafikk med en vertikal forstørrelsesfaktor ved frembringelse av utgangssignaler for grafikklinjcadresser der signalene selektivt hindrer en overføring av på forhånd bestemte horisontale linjer av grafikken ved mottagning av en vertikal forstørrelsesfaktor som er mindre enn en. Den første anordning bevirker også en overføring av på forhånd bestemte horisontale linjer av grafikken som skal gjentas selektivt ved mottagning av en vertikal forstørrelsesfaktor som er større enn en. En andre forstørrelsesmodifiserende anordning (98) reagerer på overføringene av de horisontale linjer av grafikken som er angitt for overføring med utgangssignalene fra den første forstørrelsesmodifiserende anordning til modifisering av forstørrelsen av grafikken i en horisontal retning med en horisontal forstørrelsesfaktor.
