Abstract

lonenpolymerer i tablettform, fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av dem samt anvendelse av dem ved vannbehandling er beskrevet. Tabletten inneholder fra ca. 5 til ca. 60 vekt% av en ionenpolymer, fra ca. 40 til ca. 95 vekt% av en salt- bærermatriks, fra O til ca. 20 vekt% av en nedbrytningshastighetsregulator og fra O til ca. 10 vekt% av et antisammenklumpingsmiddel. Tablettene kan lages ved blanding av en vandig løsning av en ionenpolymer med en bærermatriks under dannelse av en fuktig masse, tørking av den fuktige masse under dannelse av granuler, redusering av granulstørrelsen under dannelse av et pulver og sam- menpressing av pulveret til en tablett. Tablettene er egnet ved mange forskjellige vannbehandlingsanvendelser. Beskrivelsen beskriver følgelig en fremgangsmåte for bekjempelse av vekst av mikroorganismer i et vandig system. Ved anvendelse av fremgangsmåten behandler man et vandig system med en ionenpolymer i en mengde som er effektiv til bekjempelse av veksten av minst en mikroorganisme, lonenpolymeren er innarbeidet i en tablett ifølge oppfinnelsen.
