Abstract
Søknaden angår en fremgangsmåte for å fremstille langstrakte strukturer som har et lukket tverrsnitt og som består av to eller flere hulrom. Fremgangsmåten består av følgende trinn: Et åpent element som består av en basedel og en oppdragende ribbe ekstruderes. Elementets sidepartier formes midlertidig til sidevegger. Sideveggene slås sammen til en toppvegg ved at de sammenslåtte sideveggene støtter seg på den oppdragende ribben. Delene sammenføyes slik at elementet fremstår lukket med minst to langsgående hulrom. Den langstrakte strukturens oppbygging er også beskrevet i søknaden. Strukturen kan være en del av en bilkroppkonstruksjon for eksempel en støytfanger.
