Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår 3- aryl-2-(l-substituert-4-piperidinyl)- l ,1-dioxo ¿ 3H-benzo[d]isothiazol- derivater og beslektede forbindelser av formel (I) hvor X og Y er halogen, lavere alkyl, lavere alkoxy, aryl-lavere alkoxy, acyl, hydroxy, nitro, amino, trifluormethyl og hydrogen; n, p og q er uavhengig hele tall på l eller 2; R er hydrogen, lavere alkyl, aryl-lavere alkyl, acyl, ~<CH2)m~ORl' -(CH2)mNHR1, formler (a) og O. ^-^^^-^"^^ (a) (b) hvor R, er hydrogen, lavere alkyl, aryl- lavere alkyl, acyl og lavere alkoxy- carbonyl; Z er hydrogen, halogen, lavere alkyl, lavere alkoxy og acyl; m er et helt tall på 2 til 4; s er et helt tall på l eller 2; og farmasøytisk akseptable syreaddisjonssalter derav og optiske isomertir derav hvor slike isomerer eksisterer. Forbindelsene av formel (I) ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse er anvendbare som modulatorer av neuro- transmitterfunksjon slik som seroto- nergisk og adrenergisk, og er som sådanne anvendbare som antidepressive midler, og dopaminergisk funksjon, og kan som sådanne være anvendbare for sykdommer hvor potensiering av dopaminerg aktivitet kan være av hjelp, for eksempel Parkinsons sykdom.
