Abstract

This utility model aims to provide a method for manufacturing sweet potato bread comprising mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, kneading the ingredients to make a smooth dough that is bouncy and elastic, first proofing by putting the dough in a grease bowl and covering it with stretch film for 60 t 90 minutes until the dough rises and becomes fluffy. After first proofing, the dough is deflated and shaped into a log, and place it again in a slightly greased pan with stretch film for second proofing by allowing the dough to rise for another 60 to 90 minutes until the dough crowns the pan for 1" to 1.5" over the rim, baking the bread for 20 minutes in a pre-heated oven; tenting lightly with aluminum foil and baking the bread for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Removing the bread from the oven and placing it in a cooling rack. The sweet potato bread is intended to be eaten as a healthy snack as an alternative to flour bread.
